November 23 - December 17, 2006, Knott's Annual event honoring Fire & Police Personnel. With proper ID presented at Knott's(employee ID card, paycheck, etc.) fire and police personnel plus one guest can receive free admission. Purchase up to six additional tickets for just $10.95 each.

County Welfare, Human and Public Social Services Employee Tribute
November 23 - December 17, 2006Free Knott’s Theme Park admission for Social Services personnel with valid County photo ID or County pay stub and photo I.D. presented at turnstile. Plus one guest free, and up to 6 additional tickets may be purchased for $10.95 each.

Toys for Tots Weekends - December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 & 17. Educational Symposium and College Expo at LB Jordan High School

The nonprofit Academic UpRise, in conjunction with the Long Beach Unified School District, will sponsor the 5th Annual Educational Symposium and College Expo on Saturday, November 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Long Beach Jordan High School. This event for middle and high school students and parents will include information on the California High School Exit Exam, tutorial sessions, A-G college requirements and much more.
