Snow in Bixby Knolls

Snow in Bixby Knolls is coming! Sunday, December 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is the date for this year's holiday celebration. We invite all our members to take an active part in the fair by volunteering a couple of hours to help out, or by taking a booth space (only $50 for members) to promote your business.

The event draws upwards of 8,000 people every year (except when it rains) who come to stroll, shop and watch their children play in the snow and ride the carnival-type rides. Don't miss out!

Halloween Carnivals

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine once again would like to invite you and your staff to attend Halloween Carnivals being conducted throughout the City of Long Beach on Halloween Night. Fifteen Halloween Carnivals will be held at our Regional and Community Centers. Halloween Carnivals provide a safe alternative to traditional door-to-door trick or treating and have been tradition for thousands of Long Beach youth and families for over 45 years. Carnivals will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
