Cost: Free
Pasadena's parade honors the achievements and history of African Americans with the theme "Uniting Our Community Through Pride and Commitment." After the parade, families are invited to a festival featuring food, merchandise booths, a kids' play area, music, and a display called the Black Inventions Museum. The parade starts on Fair Oaks Avenue between Mountain View and Mountain Avenue in Pasadena; the festival is at the Jackie Robinson Center at 1020 N. Fair Oaks Avenue. [626.791.7983]
